A Passion for Healing

Orion Chase, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of traditional Oriental medicine (TCM) with a deep commitment to helping patients achieve optimal health and well-being.

After completing his Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Orion trained extensively in both classical and modern TCM techniques. His clinical experience spans a wide range of conditions, from chronic pain and musculoskeletal issues to stress, anxiety, digestive disorders, and women's health.

Drawn to the healing energy of the Pacific coast, Orion established Troncones Acupuncture in the beautiful village of Troncones, Guerrero — creating a practice that combines the ancient wisdom of Oriental medicine with the restorative power of nature.

Orion Chase MS L.Ac.

Orion has been a practicing acupuncturist since 2001. After graduating from a 4-year, 3000-hour Masters of Oriental Medicine program at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, Orion sat for national boards and was certified by the NCCAOM in 2001.

Orion practices a blend of Traditional Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture, integrating other modalities such as bodywork, electro-acupuncture, auriculotherapy, cupping, and Acutonics™ tuning forks.

Having practiced and taught Tai Chi and Qigong for over 30 years, Orion has built these skills through countless hours of instruction from a teacher who was a 50-year student of Taoist Neigong and the Chen Pan Ling Tai Chi form. Orion currently teaches a weekly Tai Chi class in Troncones.

In addition to clinical practice, Orion leads men’s circles and co-leads retreats based on the work of the Mankind Project. Orion also facilitates workshops based on the Wim Hof method—a technique using breathwork and cold immersion to enhance human resilience—and leads Osho meditations.
